Frequency of Publication
The Europasian Journal of Medical Sciences (EJMS) follows a continuous publication model, where accepted manuscripts are published online immediately after passing the double-blind peer-review process. The website is updated monthly with original articles, review articles, viewpoints, commentaries, and brief communications.
Previously, from 2019 to 2021, EJMS followed a biannual publication schedule, releasing issues in January–June and July–December each year. However, recognizing the importance of timely dissemination of research findings, the journal transitioned to a continuous publication model in 2023. This shift ensures that accepted manuscripts are published online without delay, enabling researchers to share their work more efficiently and keeping the scientific community updated with the latest advancements in medical sciences.
Under this model, EJMS maintains a running issue, allowing for the immediate online publication of officially accepted manuscripts. At the end of each year, all published content is compiled into a printed edition. This approach eliminates unnecessary delays, providing authors with the advantage of "Zero Waiting Time" for their research to be shared with the scientific community. This approach allows for the timely dissemination of research while maintaining the integrity of the peer-review process.
